Therapeutic Integrative Care Services (TICS), our newest service, is appropriate for those struggling with chronic illness. Our staff works closely with health practitioners to document ongoing client needs. Staff have completed training specific to working with people diagnosed with chronic illness and their families. These diagnoses can include a vector borne illness such as Lyme disease or 'co-infection', Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity.
Services are tailored to individual need, and include (but are not limited to):
Care Management Services
 | | Facilitation of communications and outreach to practitioners on behalf of clients

 | | Organizing medical documentation (lab reports, patient medical summaries/medical resume)

 | | Small psycho-educational groups offering ongoing opportunities to learn more about new treatments and | | | technologies, adapt to more healthy lifestyles, etc.

 | | Computer support (symptom, medication and compliance tracking, navigation of online support networks)

 | | Accompanying clients to doctor/practitioner appointments

Psychotherapy Services
 | | Ongoing individual psychotherapy sessions, facilitated by a licensed clinician who is literate in chronic illness | | | (available in office and potentially online for clients unable to leave their home)

 | | Group counseling, offering a private environment where people can form links and gain support from other | | | people affected by chronic illness. Groups are led by social workers or psychotherapists. Individual and group counseling services may be reimbursable by your medical coverage provider
