| Therapeutic Alliance Group (TAG) is a non-profit 501c3 organization founded in 2006 with the purpose of providing counseling, education and training to enhance understanding of conditions affecting mental health. TAG provides therapeutic services to individuals, families and groups; professional development to therapists; and educational workshops to the community. |
Tracy Hans, M.S., Licensed Professional Counselor, founder of Therapeutic Alliance Group, has a clinical
background in Experiential Therapies. In pursuing this work in 2006, Tracy was diagnosed with Lyme
disease. She has since become versed in the biology of spirochetal illnesses and began to study its
associated neurological manifestations. Tracy has been a member of the MMI (Microbes in Mental Illness) e-
group that links doctors and therapists across the world to address related topics and interdisciplinary
approaches to care. In the course of the past 5 years, Tracy has studied hundreds of evidence based, peer
reviewed publications and emerging science related to tick borne disease. In addition to attending related
conferences (ILADS, LIA, LDA), Tracy is active within the chronic illness community keeping herself up to date
on new scientific discoveries and strengthening TICS’ network of integrative practitioners.
